Dr. Mete Fanuscu graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1990. He later completed specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics and subspecialty training in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Implants at University of California Los Angeles. He was honored as ‘Young Scientist of the Year Award’ by International Society of Dental Ceramics with his ceramics research done at the Ivoclar R&D Laboratory (Liechtenstein) and Zurich University. He also received ‘Annual Implant Research Grant Award’ from American Academy of Implant Dentistry with his work on implant biomechanics. Dr. Fanuscu was previously director of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UCLA. Nowadays he teaches part-time at UCLA. He has published numerous articles and given lectures worldwide.
